As work proceeds on the reconstruction and widening of Interstate 75 in Butler County, a traffic switch is planned for northbound I-75 the evening of Friday, June 12.
To accommodate the traffic switch, single and double lane closures will be in place on northbound Interstate 75 from State Route 129 to State Route 63 on Friday, June 12.
Single lane closures will begin at 7 p.m.; double lane closures will begin at 10 p.m. Work is weather permitting.
The traffic switch will move northbound I-75 traffic to a four-mile stretch of southbound I-75 from SR 129 to SR 63, Three lanes of traffic will be maintained. Northbound traffic will be restricted by concrete barrier wall on both sides of the traveled lanes.
