Monroe Lending Library
Winners of the Monroe Lending Library Reading Contest held in July were 1st Place tie, Rajver Singh and Jasdeep Singh, 2nd place Lauren Loveless and 3rd place Tess Sanker. They won an assortment of prizes, which included a Library membership renewal. All who participated received a “Reading Rocks” Tee Shirt and a Certificate of Participation.
The “A is for Artist” Craft Program for children concludes on Sat. August 1st at 1:00 p.m. with an Art Show and Picnic. All artwork of the past 4 weeks will be on display and an art contest will be held. Prizes will be awarded the winners. Each child who participated will be given “Reading Rocks” Tee Shirt. Both children and parents have enjoyed the Artist Series.
