At the recent Battle of Columbus, Arnold Swharzzenegger
Martial Arts event, Brian Finch was awarded the over-all
Grand Championship for 12 and under Black Belts.
Brian won this award by taking a Gold Medal in Forms, Silver Medal in Fighting and the Bronze Medal in Weapons.
In addition to the Grand Championship Award Brian was given a $500 Savings Bond to be used for his education.
The highlight of his night was being called to center ring where he was awarded a World Championship Plaque
by Don "The Dragon" Wilson, former World Light-Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion. Brian was the only student from Monroe to enter the tournament. |
