Council approved the Council Minutes of October 27, 2009 and Town
Hall Committee Minutes of October 29, 2009
Visitors
Chief Homer introduced new Patrol Officer Douglas Wolfe.
Allen Fore from Rockies Express Pipeline LLC was present and
proposed the payment of $200,000 in lieu of constructing a well and
surface tank.
Committee Reports
Tracy Shell reported both Aimee Earls from Moms for Monroe and
Butler County Commissioner, Gregory Jolivette, attended the Town
Hall Committee meeting, which was very informative.
Old Business
Resolution No. 87-2009. A Resolution authorizing the City Manager
to enter into an agreement with Kleingers & Associates for
additional engineering design services for the Mason Road and
Butler-Warren Road Extension.
Council adopted Resolution No. 87-2009.
Resolution No. 88-2009. A Resolution authorizing the City Manager
to enter into an agreement by and between the City of Monroe and
Sun Ridge Systems for software enabling Ohio Incident Based
Reporting System compatible reporting.
Council adopted Resolution No. 88-2009.
New Business
Emergency Ordinance No. 2009-33. An Ordinance authorizing and
directing the City Manager to enter into a lease agreement by and
between the City of Monroe and Majors Farms for the lease of real
property containing approximately 50 gross acres located on North
Main Street, and declaring an emergency.
Council adopted Emergency Ordinance No. 2009-33.
Emergency Resolution No. 89-2009. A Resolution approving a
Then-and-Now Certificate in the amount of $5,417.80 to Pro Oncall
Technologies, and declaring an emergency.
Council adopted Resolution No. 89-2009.
Resolution No. 90-2009. A Resolution authorizing the City Manager
to enter into an agreement by and between the City of Monroe and
ComDoc for the lease of a new copier for the Department of
Development.
Council approved the first reading of Resolution No. 90-2009.
Consideration of Motion
Council made a motion to seek proposals for consultants to revise
the Planning and Zoning Code.
Council made a motion to accept Rockies Express Pipeline's officer
to be earmarked for the installation of a water line on Greentree
Road.
