The Monroe-Middletown Relay for Life event is tomorrow - Saturday & Sunday – how time flies! For those of you in the area, if you have a bit of time, please join The Pink Warriors by walking a few laps around the Monroe track. The Survivor Lap starts at 3:00 pm, and the Luminaria Walk is at 9:00 pm. If you haven’t experienced the Luminaria Walk, it’s a very moving tribute in honor and memory to those who have had cancer.
The Pink Warriorsare hosting the ‘Monster Cornhole’ tournament – they’re looking for teams to play – cost is a donation. The tournament begins around 10:15 pm Saturday night, so consider signing up to play a late night game of cornhole!

3:00 pm Opening Ceremony
4:00 pm Entertainment- Academy of Performing Arts & Disney Lap-Grab your coolest Disney stuff and walk the Disney lap!!
4:30 pm Team Banner Lap (All Teams) - Teams line up in front of Stage. Team members carry your teams banner and walk the track.
5:00 pm Crazy Hat Lap- Pull out the craziest hat you have and model it around the track! The crazier the better.
6:00 pm Entertainment- Center Stage & Western Lap - Grab your spurs and cowboy hat and mosey around the track partner.
7:00 pm Entertainment- Band & Umbrella Lap- Looks like rain, let’s hope not but grab your umbrella anyway and stroll the track.
8:00 pm Entertainment- Band & Mardi Gras Lap- It’s Mardi Gras time!! Grab your beads and masks and take a lap Mardi Gras Style!!
9:00 pm Luminaria Ceremony
10:00 pm Luau Lap- Have a Hawaiian shirt, grass skirt or flowered necklace and nowhere to wear them? Grab them and hula around the track.
11:00 pm Misster Relay Pageant- Pick your prettiest man put him in a dress, some make-up and some heels and let him compete for the title of Miss Relay.
Duct Tape/Newspaper contest- Bring your duct tape and newspaper for this fun event.
Midnight Sports Lap- Show your support for your favorite sport. You could kick a soccer ball, carry a football or wear a team jersey.
1:00 am Three legged Person Lap- Tie yourself to your closest friend and see how well you can work together on the three legged person lap.
2:00 am Line Dance Time- Show off your line dancing talent for this fun event. We will do the electric slide, the chicken dance, the Cha-Cha Slide and many more.
3:00 am PJ Lap- Pack your PJ’S for a fun PJ lap. Feel free to bring a teddy bear if you’d like.
4:00 – 6:00 am ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
6:00 am Scavenger Hunt- Each person will be given an item to find. The first person to find the item wins. Lots of fun and prizes!
7:00 am Sunrise Service
8:00 am Derby Lap- Grab your horse or your big derby hat and trot around the track.
8:45 am Closing Ceremony & Announce Total Amount Raised
