Six Hundred Nineteen 1st - 6th Graders Tweet

Arnie Elam, school superintendent reports that 619 students showed up for the first day of school Monday. That is up from 597 that were enrolled last year. Also 126 Kindergartners are expected this year, up from 89 last year. Monroe student population continues to grow in the K-6 grade levels.
