| Chief Ernie Howard set to retire at end of year |

Ernie has been a Police Officer since September of 1961. He started as a Patrol Officer with the City of Middletown Police Department and retired in June of 1990 as a Deputy Chief.
Ernie retired from Middletown to take the position as Chief of Police for Monroe, where he has seen the department grow from 3 employees to the existing staff of today: Current Monroe Police Staff
He has attended the Southern Police Institute at the University of Louisville and Miami University studying Police Science is a certified instructor with the Ohio Peace Officer Training Council.
Chief Howard, thank you for your hard work and dedication. You will be missed. |
