Kevin and Sherry Ledford, both active volunteers in Monroe schools, were involved in a serious accident in Mexico.
Both are in a hospital in San Antonio Texas.
Kevin is currently in stable condition with a broken vertebrae and broken ribs and Sherry is in serious condition with a head injury. According to Kevin, Sherry was sedated at first, but is now responding to verbal comands.
Sherry is expected to be hospitalized for the next 2 to 3 weeks.
