Jamie Pierce and Ernie Howard were reelected as Monroe Area Community Foundation trustees on April 26, 2011. Mr. Pierce is the current grants and distribution chair, while Mr. Howard is the president. In addition, Diane Wilson was chosen as a new trustee. She is a member of the Strategic Planning Committee. Diane is a retired Monroe teacher and counselor.

The Monroe Area Community Foundation is a nonprofit, 501 (c) 3 charitable organization. Our mission is to seek and receive donations, invest for growth, and make charitable and civic contributions to enhance the welfare of individuals and groups in the Monroe area.
