Berry is married to Billie Sue and has two boys Adam and Noah. He teaches Junior High Math at Monroe Jr. / Sr. High School and received his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters degree from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.

- Coached high school football for 1 year, college for 7 years
