Donald Kevin King and Joel Coomer are the two newest full time firefighters of Monroe. They were sworn in last Tuesday, March 27 2001, by taking the oath given by Law Director Philip Callahan. After the ceremony the two were welcomed to the "family" by Mayor Elbert Tannreuther.
King
Certification as firefighter II, hazardous materials technician, emergency medical technician and CPR instructor and provider.
Coomer
Certified as firefighter II, emergency medical technician, CPR provider and hazardous materials technician.
