The Monroe Conmmunity Chorus with the a Monroe Jazz Band entertained two full house audiences on Friday and Saturday nights the first weekend of December. The local high school auditorium offered their stage for the show.
The addition of jazz to the Christmas music gives an added punch to the already fine program. Santa makes an appearance to distribute good wishes as well as candy canes.
This is a wonderful free event to the community and surrounding area. There is a freewill collection taken which supports the purchse of goods to be distributed to the needy in the community.
