Christmas in the Park will be celebrated on Saturday, December 6, 2003, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
This is the second year for this family-oriented event. Last year's event was so successful that we all agreed it should be repeated.
Santa will be arriving along with his elves. After talking to youngsters about their wish list for Christmas, little ones (and big ones alike) may also send Santa a letter to make sure that he really hears their wishes. As you know, Santa is not as young as he used to be! There will also be a special mailbox available to send those requests back to the North Pole.
There will be refreshments, candy, music, entertainment, and good old fashioned holiday fun.
NEEDED: 500 1-gallon clear milk jugs with label off. These can be dropped off at the James Monroe Community Room here at the City Building.
