Monroe 's Fifth Annual
City Fest - September
20, 2000
|
Monroe
Pride was evident again on Saturday morning as
probably the largest parade ever to be seen in
Monroe
marched from Mount Pleasant to the Monroe
Community Park. Grand Marshals of the parade
were the new school board for Monroe Local
Schools. Bands, horses, sports teams,
politicians, antique cars, fire trucks, law
enforcement, churches and even Cinderella's
horse and carriage joined the festivities as
part of Monroe's Fifth Annual City Fest.
